Terry became an elder in 2014. He is active as a Life Group leader and enjoys many other opportunities to serve. The in-depth teaching of the Word drew him to Steadfast, and has played a big part in his spiritual growth. A key verse in Terry's life is Philippians 4:8, "Whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever if pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable...think about such things". Terry has worked in logistics and information technology for Valmont Industries since 1979. He is married to Dr. Michelle Lundgren (Education Professor at Grace University). They have four married children and ten grandchildren. Terry enjoys golf and following sports. The empty next season has meant travels with Michelle, vacations with the extended family, biking, and gardening.
Nate became an elder at Steadfast in 2015. After growing up in Henderson, Nebraska he earned a degree in biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. Since 1998, Nate has been with UBS Financial Services where he is a Senior Vice President. Since coming to Steadfast, Nate, his wife Amanda and their two kids have grown in their walks with the Lord. Spending time in God's Word and prayer have become a priority. They are grateful for the family they have at Steadfast.
When Chris began attending Steadfast, he was personally challenged to get into God’s Word. This challenge was a milestone for him as the Word has been growing deep roots in his life ever since. Today, he cherishes any chance to share Psalm 119v102, which says, “I have not departed from your laws, for you yourself have taught me.” Chris has served as an elder at Steadfast since 2006. A native of Lincoln, NE, Chris received a degree in civil engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001 and now works at an Omaha engineering firm. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Megan, as well as traveling, camping and hunting.
